Frequently asked questions

Before Co-Mover launches: answers that matter.

Clear, pre-launch answers for customers, local businesses and drivers across Canada.

When will Co-Mover launch?

Co-Mover is preparing to launch across Canada. A confirmed public date has not been announced. Customer waitlist members will receive relevant launch and local availability information first.

Where will Co-Mover operate?

Co-Mover was founded in Red Deer, Alberta and is preparing service across Canada. Local coverage, participating merchants and active delivery areas will be published before requests open.

What can I request?

The platform is being designed for eligible food orders, Shop & Deliver requests, prepared grocery and retail pickups, parcels, furniture, marketplace pickups and other approved local items.

How is Shop & Deliver planned to work?

Under the planned model, one approved shopper-driver will accept an eligible request, shop at the selected store and personally deliver it. Purchase authorization, substitutions, refunds and receipts are still being finalized.

Will Co-Mover offer rides?

Ride is planned as a separate future service. No rides are available now, and launch will depend on confirmed licensing, insurance, driver screening, safety, pricing and local regulatory requirements.

How will pricing work?

Planned pricing may reflect distance, vehicle type, timing and handling requirements. Final pricing and consumer terms will be published before requests open.

How are drivers screened?

Final onboarding criteria are being completed. The planned process includes identity, licence, driving-record, background, vehicle and documentation checks appropriate to the role.

Can I track a delivery?

Delivery visibility and status updates are part of the platform plan. Final tracking features will be confirmed before launch.

What if something goes wrong?

Co-Mover is preparing support and issue-resolution procedures for delays, unsuccessful deliveries, missing items, damage and safety concerns. Final policies will be published before service begins.

Can a business use Co-Mover without an online store?

Yes. The Merchant application process supports different operating models. The launch team will review the practical request and order workflow with each approved business.

What vehicles can drivers use?

Cars, SUVs, hatchbacks, pickup trucks, cargo vans and box trucks may be eligible depending on final onboarding standards and the type of delivery.

Does joining the customer waitlist guarantee access?

No. The customer waitlist records interest and permission to send relevant updates. Eligibility, availability, pricing and launch access will be confirmed separately.

Where do merchants and drivers apply?

Merchants and drivers use their dedicated application portals linked from the For businesses and For drivers pages. Application details and requested documents are not submitted through the customer waitlist.

Can I place an order or pay on this website?

No. This is a pre-launch marketing website with a customer waitlist and links to separate application portals. It does not accept delivery orders, payment-card data or financial transactions.

Can I submit prescription or health information?

No. Do not submit prescription, health, government-ID or other sensitive information through this website. Current pharmacy planning is limited to eligible non-prescription retail items.

How do I stop launch emails?

Use the unsubscribe option included in a Co-Mover email or contact business@co-mover.ca. Co-Mover will process valid unsubscribe requests promptly and no later than the period required by applicable law.
