Delete your Co-Mover account

Use this page to request deletion of an account created through a Co-Mover Customer, Driver or Merchant app. You can also request deletion from the app’s account settings. You do not need the app installed to use this website form.

Submit your request

Enter the contact details connected to your account. We will send a receipt and contact you through an account channel to confirm that you own the account before we delete it.

Do not send passwords, one-time codes, card numbers, identity documents or other sensitive information.

Co-Mover will use these details to locate the account, verify your identity and process the request. · Privacy Policy

Store (Merchant) accounts

Store account deletion is available. Select Store (Merchant) in the form above. We verify that you are authorized to close the account and review active orders, menus and storefronts, historical orders and reviews, Stripe Connect balances, refunds, disputes and payouts. Records that must remain follow the retention rules below and in our Privacy Policy.

What happens next

  1. Co-Mover confirms that the request was received.
  2. We verify that the requester owns the account.
  3. We manually disable and delete or de-identify the account data that is not subject to a retention requirement.
  4. We aim to complete the request within 30 days after verification and send a confirmation when processing is complete.

If we need more information, or cannot delete a record for a legal or documented business reason, we will explain that to you.

What we delete or de-identify

Subject to the exceptions below, the current manual process deletes or de-identifies the account records, saved addresses, preferences, device tokens and notification records. Payment records remain but no longer name the deleted person. We also ask applicable service providers to delete data they process for us where required and available.

Card numbers and security codes are not stored by Co-Mover. Stripe processes them directly under its own privacy terms.

Account deletion does not immediately erase photos or conversation records. Retention, documented holds and authorized privacy review determine what may be removed and what must remain.

Information that may be retained

Account deletion does not erase records that Co-Mover must reasonably keep for legal, tax, payment, safety, fraud, insurance, dispute or regulatory purposes. Scheduled deletion of Driver GPS trails after 30 days and one-time Customer address records about an hour after use are active. The other time-based schedules below are approved targets and are not yet active. Until those schedules are implemented and enabled, affected records may be retained longer unless removed through an authorized manual review:

The current manual process removes applicable raw verification documents when an account is deleted. Automatic deletion of rejected, withdrawn, expired or replaced documents is not yet active. Our target is to remove rejected or withdrawn application documents within 30 days of the final decision or withdrawal, replaced Driver documents within 30 days after the replacement is approved, and expired documents after access is suspended and a 30-day review period ends, unless a documented hold requires longer retention. Where possible, retained records are separated from the deleted account or made non-identifying.

Backup copies

Point-in-time recovery is not enabled for Co-Mover's Supabase database. Deleted database information may remain in protected rotating backups for up to seven days. Those backup copies are not used in ordinary operations and expire through the normal backup rotation. Uploaded verification files are not included in those database backups, so restoring a database backup does not restore a deleted file.
